- This is a sources sought notice only. This is not a solicitation announcement. No contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement, and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up requests. The government intends to acquire the items needed from the Required Items List to perform Law Enforcement and Security duties for the Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) Community, as outlined in the attached draft Statement of Work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423490. The subject requirement is to supply Law Enforcement and Security personnel with the equipment and supplies required to perform their duties and training. See Statement of Work for specific details. Interested parties shall submit a brief capability statement, no more than fifteen (15) pages, demonstrating how they are capable of meeting this requirement. Capability statements should respond to all items requested in this notice. Standard brochures and/or paraphrasing of the Statement of Work will not be considered as a sufficient response to this notice. Feedback and/or evaluation information will not be provided to any firm regarding their individual capability statements. Telephone calls, facsimiles, and/or requests for a solicitation will not be accepted or acknowledged. The capability statement should include the following: (1) Name of business; (2) Contact information (address, telephone, facsimile, e-mail, website address); (3) DUNS number, business size and classification; (4) Technical description of ability to meet the requirement (description should address technical competencies, and organizational experience relative to the key task areas in the draft Statement of Work); (5) The concerns capacity to manage the anticipated volume of work under this requirement; (6) Discussion of any potentially significant organizational conflicts of interest; (7) General financial and organizational information should be provided with regard to the following items: (a) average number of employees of the concern; (b) average annual receipts based on the last three fiscal years; and (c) a description of other current business commitments (i.e. contracts, etc..). Businesses shall submit electronic copies of their respective capability statements to Ines Lopez at ines.lopez1.civ@mail.mil, no later than March 3, 2014 at 9:00 AM EST. Late responses will not be considered.
