- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to award an order to Standard & Poor's Financial Services for a product license renewal of Standard & Poor's Loan Commentary News and Leverage Commentary Data Research Services. Standard & Poor's Financial Services is the sole provider of Standard & Poor's Loan Commentary News and Leverage Commentary Data Research Services. Standard & Poor's Leveraged Commentary & Data Research (S&P's LCD Research) is the only source providing real-time information in the leveraged loan and high yield bond markets, providing information on deal activities, price talk to deal closings in the industry. The service also provides mid-day and market closing information, capturing major events and changes which have influences the markets over the course of the day. Unlike other market products, this data is more timely and more in-depth, and along with focusing on individual deals provides background on events that have affected the entire leveraged loan and high yield bond markets. This requirement will have a period of performance of 3/1/2014 - 2/28/2015, with an option year. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, firms that believe they can provide equipment/service that fully meets the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within five (5) days after publication of this synopsis. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a competitive basis, based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
