Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Denver Veterans Affairs' Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking the services of a qualified Architectural Engineering (A/E) firm with specialized experience to provide a design consisting of drawings and specifications for the energy audit corrections based on review of documents and drawings available in the office of facility Management. Please see the attached statement of work (SOW) for more details. The estimated construction range is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. Site location for this project is the Grand Junction VAMC located at 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501. All interested firms are required to submit two (2) recently completed Standard Form (SF) 330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications, as well as (1) electronic copy, to the Contracting Officer shown below no later than 4:00 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time), March 26, 2014. Solicitation VA259-14-R-0295 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. THE GOVERNMENT'S OBLIGATION FOR AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF APPROPIATED FUNDS. AGAIN THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NAICS Code 541310 is applicable to this acquisition and the small business size standard is considered $7.0 million. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in accordance with Public Law 109-461 as codified by 38 USC 8127 & 8128. The offeror shall submit proof from Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Center for Veteran's Enterprise (CVE) that they are either Verified as an SDVOSB, or have applied for Verification in accordance with VAAR 804.1102.
