- RFI Questions and Answers VA119-14-I-0078 MSPV Question 1: Will the VA consider revising the NAICS and PCS codes consistent with supply contracts, such as 339112 and 65, respectively? A. VA will consider revising the NAICS and PCS codes consistent with supply type contracts. Question 2: Why is VA asking how the respondents will respond to risks and success for equipment? A: VA is considering expanding the scope of items that are part of the 65IIA schedule which includes various types of equipment. Question 3: The RFI identifies drugs and biologics. These product categories typically are covered under VA's Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Program contract. Why are these included in the RFI for MSPV? A: VA has ordered some drugs and biologics through the MSPV in the past. The VA is considering expanding the scope of items that are part of the 65IIA schedule which includes various types of equipment. Question 4: Why are Hospital beds included in this RFI? A. The VA is considering expanding the scope of items that are part of the 65IIA schedule which includes various types of equipment. This would also include equipment that would be non-repetitive items that would follow competition criteria that will be developed. Question 5: Why is this delivery of oxygen equipment included in this RFI? A. The VA is considering expanding the scope of items that are part of the 65IIA schedule which includes various types of equipment. Question 6: Will the VA consider set-asides or reserves under this procurement to increase opportunities for small businesses, especially SDVOSB and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSBs), consistent with VA's Veterans First Contracting Program (P.L. 109-461, 38 U.S.C. §8127 and §8128)? A.
