- DATA CENTER CLEANING SERVICES NOTICE DATE FEBRUARY 25, 2014 NOTICE TYPE: Pre-solicitation Notice NAICS: 561720 -JANITORIAL SERVICES (Data Center Cleaning) Contracting office: Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Region Acquisition, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815 Norfolk, VA 23510 The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service, College Park, MD, is soliciting a requirement for Data Center cleaning services at the National Centers for Environmental Prediction Central Operations Center. Award of a firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purchase order of the service agreement will be a Total Small Business Set Aside in accordance with FAR 6.202(a)(3). The associated NAICS code is 561720. The small size standard is $7 million. The Federal Supply Class is S201. The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statement of Work is Date of Award through February 28, 2017 (including two option years). This contract may be established to satisfy the requirement on a temporary basis until the required services can be added to the AbilityOne Procurement List. If these services are added to the Procurement List, then the option years will be awarded directly to an AbilityOne contractor in accordance with 14 U.S.C 46-48c. Solicitation number EA-133W-14-RQ-0182 will be issued February 25, 2014 via FedBizOpps at www.FBO.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will also be provided on the Internet using the same protocol listed above. The solicitation will close March 7, 2014. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only past performance, past experience and price, and price related factors specified in the solicitation. Site visits shall be arranged with Doug Fenderson during the dates of February 26, 2014 through March 4, 2014. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by the agency. Quotes are to remain effective for 30 days after close of solicitation. To be eligible for award, vendors must obtain a DUNS number (this may be done by calling 1-800-333-0505) and be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM): www.sam.gov. The anticipated award date is on or about March 12, 2014. Contractors are encouraged to register with FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service.
