- This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for information purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. A Market Survey is being conducted to determine if there are adequate Small Businesses, HUBZone, 8(a), or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors for the following proposed contract. Contract will consist of new work dredging within the Delaware River; a) Work shall include dredging of the Philadelphia Harbor and the Delaware River in the vicinity of Camden (Beckett Street Terminal); b) Dredging shall be required to a depth of 45 feet MLLW plus 1-foot allowable over depth within contract work limits; c) Dredging within the contract work limits from Station 20+300 to Station 24+300 will be a box cut with a required distance of 10 feet outside the west channel edge and a box cut on the east channel edge; d) Dredging within the contract work limits from Station 24+300 to Station 26+400 will be a box cut with a required distance of 10 feet outside the west channel edge and a 3H to 1V side slope on the east channel edge; e) Dredging within the contract work limits from Station 26+400 to Station 32+900 will be a box cut with a required distance of 25 feet outside existing centerline and a 3H to 1V side slope on the east channel edge; f) Dredging within the contract work limits of the Delaware River in the vicinity of Camden (Beckett Street Terminal) will be box cut for all edges; g) The Government-furnished disposal area available for use under this contract is Fort Mifflin Disposal Area, Cell C; h) Award of this contract is subject to the availability of funds. All work and services under this project shall be completed within 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated cost range of the project is $10,000,000.00 to $25,000,000.00. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990 with a size standard of $25.5 mil. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should submit a narrative demonstrating their Specialized Experience in similar type contracts, Past Performance, Key Personnel. Capability statements should include size/classification of your firm, details of similar projects, completion dates, references and contract amount. Narratives shall be no longer than FIVE (5) pages. Responses should be sent to Sandi Fletcher at Sandra.G.Fletcher@usace.army.mil to reach this office on or before March 4, 2014 no later than 4:00 p.m.
