- Sources Sought Amendment 2 This Sources Sought Announcement has been amended to add question # 6. This Sources Sought Announcement has been amended to clarify the unit of measurement for both items, modify the material of the Packet Impression Material, and dictate the packaging of the Polyback Material. The Army Contracting Command Rock Island (ACC-RI) is seeking sources that can provide the following items in support of production of the M295 Decontamination Kit at Pine Bluff Arsenal. The drawings are attached to this announcement for your information. Item: M295 Packet Impression Material Drawing No: 63-220-ME-3000 NAICS Code: 326112 Estimated Buy Qty: 667,000 each (label) *Use alternate material: Green EVOH CX 946 Item: M295 Polyback Material Drawing No: 63-220-ME-3002 NAICS Code 326112 Estimated Buy Qty: 1,335,000 linear feet *IAW the drawing, Roll size should be 8 - 1/4 quote mark W x 4250' L with a 3 quote mark core Respondents to this Sources Sought announcement should provide the following information: 1. Company name, CAGE Code, Point of Contact, Phone Number, Email Address, and business size status relative to NAICS 326112 2. A brief synopsis of your company's technical capability to manufacture each item. 3. State whether you will be the actual manufacturer of the items, or if you intend to subcontract all or a portion of the requirement. If you are not the actual manufacturer, indicate what percentage in dollars (not including Materials) and/or what production operations you intend to subcontract. 4. Identify any long-lead items that may impact the delivery schedule. 5. The required initial delivery date is 12 Jun 14 for production quantities. State what portion of the total delivery for each item you can deliver given an award date NLT 01 May 2014. If not, state the earliest date that you can deliver. Note: The contractor is required to submit a First Article sample for each item prior to initial delivery. 6. Identify the minimum order quantity required for each item. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, a Solicitation, a Request for Quotes, or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in this announcement. This request is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this announcement. However, information obtained as a result of this announcement may be reflected in the subsequent solicitation, this announcement is Government market research, and may result in revisions to both its requirements and its acquisition strategy based on industry responses.
