- The VA Montana Healthcare System is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for a modular MRI and PET/CT imaging machine/building as well as the staff to administer the exams (results will be read by a VA physician). The docking station for the building, as well as the electricity will be provided by the VA Montana Health Care System. These services shall be provided onsite at the VA Montana Health Care System located at 3687 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, MT. The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 621512. Contractor shall furnish all equipment, maintenance, all licenses, quality control, necessary for the operation of the equipment, labor, management, supervision, transportation, teaching, and consultation. Contractor shall provide service for a total of five days a week. The days will be decided by the V.A. Montana Healthcare System. Contractor will provide MRI technologists certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with additional certification for performing MRI examinations and be experienced in Magnetic Resonance Angiographies as well. The MRI machine must be capable of performing Magnetic Resonance Angiographies and functional imaging capabilities with all necessary software, hardware and power injector needed to perform bilateral-complete leg runoff and abdominal, thoracic and cervical angiographies. In addition, Contractor care shall cover the range of services provided in a civilian medical treatment facility. The VA reserves the right to schedule as many exams per day as are deemed necessary to get the workload completed in a timely fashion. The contractor shall provide for a backup plan for technologist coverage for illness, family emergency, etc. The Contractor is to maintain JCAHO accreditation during the time the contract is in effect. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1.) Organization name, address, email address, website address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2.) capability statement specific to all the services being requested, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to provide services, organization shall provide a two part capability statement. The first part shall include the key personnel and services the responding organization proposes to provide and the second part shall include the personnel and services subcontractor/partner will be providing. Organization shall also include past history /previous contracts awarded to provide this type of service. Previous history shall be provided for organization responding to this announcement not for subcontractor/partner. Please provide documentation of the size of your business. If you are classified as a small business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone small business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, and/or SBA 8(a) certified small business, please provide a capability statement in addition to other information for acquisition strategy determination. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by March 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM MST.
