- NSN 1R-1730-005402343-SX, REF NR A5-1HC, QTY 17 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. Solicitation Number: N00383-14-T-1353 NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Columbus Jack (00994) and Sikorsky Aircraft (78286) for the purchase of an aircraft landing jack. The intention of this solicitation is to award a firm fixed priced contract. This contract will include the purchase of the following part: NSN: 1RW-1730-00-540-2343 ITEM NM: LANDING JACK,AIRCRA P/N: A5-1HC; 0505-50; 1926-010; 53D22020 QTY: 17 The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Columbus Jack and Sikorsky. Columbus Jack and Sikorsky are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only knownsource for providing repair support of the above repair part. Thisprocurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the FederalAcquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336413. Thisrequirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only oneresponsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agencyrequirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotationsor capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, Attn: Mrs. Christine Pennington, Contract Specialist, Code (0262.06), 700 Robbins Ave, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Sources will be solicited on or after 12 FEB 2014 and the solicitation will close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
