Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Department of Veterans Affairs of Western New York is seeking the services of a qualified Architectural Engineering (A/E) firm with specialized experience to design or create fabrication and installation drawings to support the existing Patient Room Case-goods furniture at the VA Medical Center Clinic, in Canandaigua, NY. This project will design for furniture fabrication, including wall mounted furniture in three buildings for single and double occupancy rooms. This project shall also create installation drawings for each room to include work required within the room prior to installation to allow successful installation of the furniture. This shall include all necessary updates, adjustments, relocations, or modifications to existing devices and systems including but not limited to, electrical outlets, light switches, light fixtures, man-lift docking, current TV/armature locations, nurse call system requirement, lighting, plumbing, fire alarm, fire suppression, or other items that may interfere with the furniture installation, as well as any patching, painting, or other wall surface work required to support successful installation of the new furniture. ***************************************THIS IS A 100% SDVOSB SET-ASIDE.********************************************************* This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in accordance with Public Law 109-461 as codified by 38 USC 8127 & 8128. The offeror shall submit proof from Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Center for Veteran's Enterprise (CVE) that they are either Verified as an SDVOSB, or have applied for Verification in accordance with VAAR 804.1102. There is no estimate for a construction range, as the physical changes/alterations/installation will be performed by VA personnel/interior designers. Site location for this project is the Canandaigua VAMC 400 Fort Hill Ave., Canandaigua, NY 14424. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE AND ALL REQUESTS FOR SF-330'S WILL BE PUBLISHED IN THE FORM OF A FORMAL SOLICITATION ON OR ABOUT MARCH 15, 2014.
