- Amendment Dated 02-27-14. Extension to response date to NLT 1400 EST 10 Mar 2014. This amendment also includes responses to the five questions submitted by interested parties. This Notice is amended to reflect the original intent to be set aside for Small Business. The original notice was not identified properly as a set aside. This amendment also includes responses to the four questions submitted by interested parties. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Air Force has requested the Middle East District (TAM) to procure a vendor that will furnish, install, and test a radome at their facilities located at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The work site currently has an existing radome and associated foundation. The existing radome will be de-installed under a different contract prior to the start of this project. The foundation will remain in place and shall be used as the foundation for the new radome. The period of performance is approximately 280 days.
