- Market Research Questionnaire THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Bag-in-Box (Beverages), equipment, and service for the Foodservice Department at the United States Penitentiary (USP) Canaan, Waymart, Pennsylvania. The requirement for these services will normally consist of the supply of 1,095 cases per year or 5,475 gallons of 9:1 liquid juice concentrate consisting of the following flavors: orange, lemonade, fruit punch, and sweet & unsweetened tea. Vendors will also provide an estimated 144 cases or 720 gallons of 80:1 coffee base. In addition to beverage base, vendors will supply the following equipment: Six (6) new beverage dispensers, six (6) new ice dispensers, and two coffee dispensing units. The vendor will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of all equipment provided. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes is 311930 (Size Standard: 500 Employees). The Government contemplates the award of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be distributed solely through General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
