- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for commercial supplies as prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NSWCCD Philadelphia seeks to award a firm fixed price (FFP) order to Columbia Research Laboratories, Inc., 1925 MacDade Blvd, Woodlyn, Pa. 19094. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for 12 Each of the 1g compensated Tri-Axial Linear Force Balance Accelerometers to populate the accelerometer requirement in ship motion packages as follows: 9 Each - Servo Accelerometer - Model SA-307HPTX, Range: X Axis +/- 3G W/ 1G Counterbias Y & Z Axis +/- 2G 3 Each - Servo Accelerometer - Model SA-307HPTX, Range: X Axis +/- 5G W/ 1G Counterbias Y & Z Axis +/- 2G 12 Each - Mating Connectors The required delivery of the accelerometers is 16 weeks after date of award. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334515. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
