- Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) MULTIPLE-AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACT (MATOC) TASK ORDER PROPOSAL REQUEST (TOPR) For Demolition and Abatement Building 1 Floor 7 at VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS) PRESOLICITATION NOTICE VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS) 2615 E Clinton Ave Fresno, CA 93703 DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS NETWORK CONTRACTING OFFICE 21 (NCO 21) Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A TASK ORDER PROPOSAL REQUEST (TOPR). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who were awarded a Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (VISN 21) Multiple-Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). The 7th floor of VA's Hospital Building 1, at the Central California Healthcare System located at 2615 E Clinton Ave Fresno, CA 93703, is in the process of being designed for renovation of new spaces. All salvageable items will be discarded by the VA prior to commencement of demolition. The demolition consists of gutting out the entire 7th floor while maintaining use of critical systems. The demolition also includes isolated work within the 6th floor space for pipe, duct, and conduit terminations. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, expertise, supervision, and administration necessary to complete the project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA261-14-R-0201 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about February 28, 2014. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. A proposal conference and site visit shall be held at the VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS) during the week of March 3-7, 2014 or March 10-14, 2014. (See solicitation when available for specific date/time/location of site visit). The purpose of the event is to provide industry with information on an opportunity to visit the site of the projects for which proposals shall be solicited. Additionally, these events serve to encourage industry participation and afford potential offerors additional information through a question and answer session prior to proposal submission. Bids are tentatively scheduled to be due on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
