- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Logos Technology, Inc for the operation, sustainment, spares, maintenance, logistical support services and upgrades of the Kestrel Wide Area Surveillance (WAS) systems that are currently integrated on existing Persistent Ground Surveillance System (PGSS) and Persistent Threat Detection System (PTDS). THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Logos is the developer of the Kestrel WAS and is the only source possessing the requisite knowledge, engineering expertise, and unique capabilities necessary to successfully perform the highly specialized tasking of this requirement. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract.
