- This solicitation is for a multiple-year Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) for the acquisition of the following: 6140-01-529-7888 (Battery Set) not to exceed 36 months or $150,000.00, whichever occurs first. Require delivery day is 90 ADO. FOB destination and inspection/acceptance at destination is required. This solicitation will be available for download on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on or about 02/28/2014; however, **DIBBS quotations are not acceptable for this solicitation.** Quotes must be submitted on hard copy of the RFQ and either faxed to the attention of Ricardo Blanco at 614-693-1572, or scanned and emailed to ricardo.blancosoto@dla.mil (prefer method). Note - Though this is an RFQ, the solicitation can only be found by searching RFP/IFB Database in DIBBS. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. This solicitation is not 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings/specifications would not be available through DIBBS. The total duration (base years) shall not exceed 3 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 6140. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). Approved source is: Eaton Corporation DBA (31795) P/N: 05146035-4-5501 While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
