- This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This notice is to help the United States Coast Guard find alternate sources of supply. This is not a request for proposals. This is not a solicitation announcement and no contract will be awarded from this notice. This Sources Sought Notice is issued to provide potential offerors an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed requirement; Procurement of Wheel Assemblies used on the Coast Guard's MH60 Aircraft. Nomenclature National Stock Number (NSN) Part Number (P/N) Wheel Assembly 1630-01-158-5752 5004769 Wheel Assembly 1630-01-161-8343 5004924-2 Potential offerors are encouraged to notify the contracting office of their capabilities to provide the aforementioned components in new condition with traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems Corporation, Cage Code 0B9R9. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are not a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. After review of the responses to this notice and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on the governmentwide point of entry, Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are not an adequate response to any future solicitation announcement. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 19 March 2014, 3:00 p.m. EST.
