Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (PHD NSWC) Port Hueneme, Ca. intends to issue a contract with firm fixed priced order to purchase P/N 70-00060-08, 4 ea, Saturn 8520P PCI serial Controller Card. Required delivery will be in 12 weeks at receipt of order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 334418 with a Size Standard of 500 employees. The contractor is SIE Computing Solutions, Inc., Brockton, Ma. as the sole manufacturer of the Saturn 8520P PCI serial Controller Cards. The parts used in the Tomahawk are specific to our system, with the F3 characteristics of the RMP designed around this part. This specific card has passed Grade-A shock and vibration Environmental Qualification Tests (EQT) so even if another card was needed for the system it would have to be qualified.
