Description

J & A This is a public synopsis posting to inform that Hill AFB intends to award a sole source contract to Acugain Coatings, Inc. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received before before the close of this synopsis will be reviewed. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based upon responses previously received, and is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is suggested that small business firms or other interested vendors in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described services make contact with the firm listed. For previous postings regarding this requirement, please refer to the sources sought synopsis FA8224-13-R-DOME previously posted in FBO. For this and all future postings, please refer to solicitation number FA8224-FA8224-14-R-0108. The Government reserves the right to cancel this notice at any time. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or limited number of responsible source(s) an no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to award to only one source FAR 6.302-1(b)(2). An anticipated Award Date is 01 April 2014.
