Description

The purpose of this amendment is to provide the attachment of the original combined synopsis/solicitation in a cleaner format and to provide additional information regarding this requirement. 1.On the following page, the first page of the original document is attached. If you are unable to see the document, please contact Weston Worsham via email at Weston.Worsham@va.gov, and the document will be sent to you in a.pdf version. The following is the description of the item being solicited. Item: DYED ULTRA LOW SULFER #2 FUEL OIL (DIESEL). Quantity: 12,200 Gallons Extended Description: FUEL SHALL BE DELIVERED VIA TRUCK NOT TO EXCEED APPROXIMATELY 30' IN LENGTH IN ORDER TO MANUVER AROUND THE FACILITY. FUEL SHALL BE DELIEVERED TO SIX (6) SEPARATE TANKS. FIVE OF THE SIX TANKS ARE LOCATED IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO WHERE THE TRUCK WILL NEED TO BE MOVED APPROXIMATELY 10' EACH TIME. THE SIXTH TANK IS AT THE SAME LOCATION BUT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FACILITY. THE AMOUNT OF FUEL TO BE DELIVERED TO EACH TANK IS AS FOLLOWS: TANK 1: 3,100 GALLONS TANK 2: 3,100 GALLONS TANK 4: 1,500 GALLONS TANK 5: 3,100 GALLONS TANK 6: 400 GALLONS TANK 7: 1,000 GALLLONS NOTE: TANK #3 WILL NOT RECEIVE FUEL AT THIS TIME. 2.Submission of Quotes: Quotes can either be submitted via the vendor portal or via email to Weston.Worsham@va.gov. All quotes are due by no later than 1500 (3:00 p.m.) CST on Wednesday, 05 March 2014. 3.Please send questions concerning this requirement to Weston Worsham via email at Weston.Worsham@va.gov. 4.All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
