- Description
- Government of Georgia (GoG) has received a grant from the Government of the United States through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the Improved Infrastructure, Economic Opportunities, and Support for Internally Displaced Persons, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant for Rehabilitation Works of Sanitary Upgrades, Household Water Supply and Drainage for IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) Cottage Settlements in Mtskheta-Tianeti and Shida Kartli Regions, namely for following two (2) Contracts described below: The list of contracts is: 1. Rehabilitation Works of Sanitary Upgrades, Household Water Supply and Drainage for 1 IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) Cottage Settlement in Mtskheta-Tianeti Region (village: Frezeti), USAID/W/ICB/08-Lot 1-2014 2. Rehabilitation Works of Sanitary Upgrades, Household Water Supply and Drainage for 3 IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) Cottage Settlements in Shida Kartli Region (villages: Shavshvebi, Akhalsopeli and Teliani), USAID/W/ICB/08-Lot 2-2014 Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for: " Rehabilitation Works of Sanitary Upgrades, Household Water Supply and Drainage for 1 IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) Cottage Settlement in Mtskheta-Tianeti Region (village: Frezeti)", USAID/W/ICB/08-Lot 1-2014 and "Rehabilitation Works of Sanitary Upgrades, Household Water Supply and Drainage for 3 IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) Cottage Settlements in Shida Kartli Region (villages: Shavshvebi, Akhalsopeli and Teliani)", USAID/W/ICB/08-Lot 2-2014. The Bidders may submit their Bids for each (one) Lot or for both Lots (Contracts). The Project areas are located in East Georgia, namely: Lot 1 1). Mtskheta-Tianeti region, Mtskheta Municipality, Village Frezeti - 25 km North from Tbilisi, access to the site is possible via Tbilisi-Stephantsminda motor way; Lot 2 1). Shida Kartli Region, Gori Municipality, Village Shavshvebi - 60 km, West from Tbilisi; 2). Shida Kartli Region, Kareli Municipality, village Akhalsopeli - 90 km west from Tbilisi; 3). Shida Kartli Region, Kaspi Municipality, Village Teliani - 70 km West from Tbilisi, access to the sites is possible via Tbilisi-Senaki motor way. Project aims improvement of infrastructure of IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) cottage settlements. The proposed works include following: Lot 1 - Rehabilitation Works of Sanitary Upgrades, Household Water Supply and Drainage for 1 IDP Cottage Settlements in Mtskheta-Tianeti Region (village Frezeti): Main works for village Frezeti are: The project for Frezeti Settlement (number of cottages - 300) envisages arranging of shower-toilet unit, sewage network and waste water treatment plant. External sewage networks at total length of - 9,23 km; sewage outlet manifold at length of - 1,935 km; yard networks of water supply-sewage systems and internal plumbing; shower-toilet units - 300 units; sand-gravel filter. Lot 2 - Rehabilitation Works of Sanitary Upgrades, Household Water Supply and Drainage for 3 IDP Cottage Settlements in Shida Kartli Region (villages: Shavshvebi, Akhalsopeli and Teliani): Main works for village Shavshvebi are: The project for Shavshvebi Settlement (number of cottages - 177) envisages arranging of shower-toilet unit, sewage network and waste water treatment plant. External sewage networks at total length of - 2,03km; sewage outlet manifold at length - 0,311 km; yard networks of water supply-sewage systems and internal plumbing; shower-toilet units -177 units; sand-gravel filter; Main works for village Akhalsopeli are: The project for Akhalsipeli Settlement (number of cottages - 100) envisages arranging of shower-toilet unit, sewage network and waste water treatment plant; main gas pipeline of 15,1km as per technical conditions is also scheduled to be arranged aiming at gas supplying; arranging of internal quarterly network at 1500 m, connection to the cottages and provision of gas meters are also envisaged under the project. External sewage networks at total length of - 1,61 km; sewage outlet manifold at length of - 1,28 km; yard networks of water supply-sewage systems and internal plumbing; shower-toilet units -100 units; sand-gravel filter - 1 unit; arranging of main gas line - 15,1 km; internal quarterly gas network - 1,6 km; connection of cottages to gas network and provision of gas meters -100 units. Main works for village Teliani are: The project for Teliani Settlement (number of cottages - 54) envisages arranging of shower-toilet unit, sewage network and waste water treatment plant; main gas pipeline of 10,8 km as per technical conditions is also scheduled to be arranged aiming at gas supplying; arranging of internal quarterly network at 820 m, connection to the cottages and provision of gas meters are also envisaged under the project External sewage networks at total length of - 0,82 km; sewage outlet manifold at length of - 1,21 km; yard networks of water supply-sewage systems and internal plumbing; shower-toilet units - 54 units; sand-gravel filter - 1 unit; arranging of main gas line - 10,8 km; internal quarterly gas network - 0,8 km; connection of cottages to gas network and provision of gas meters -54 units. All Works must be completed within 4 (Four) months after Start Date. Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures, in accordance with USAID policy, and is open to all bidders listed in USAID Geographic Code 937, as defined by USAID source and nationality regulations 22 C.F.R. Part 228 (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-20101-10/html/2011-33240.htm), or 110 (currently the United States, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) in effect on the date of acquisition. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) office at the address below from 10:00 to 18:00 hours. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of GEL 300 (three hundred) or equivalent. The minimum required average annual turnover of construction works for the successful Bidder in the last three years shall be - GEL 18,000,000 2. The minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments shall be - GEL 2,500,000 For Lot 2: 1. The minimum required average annual turnover of construction works for the successful Bidder in the last three years shall be - GEL 24,000,000. 2. The minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments shall be - GEL 3,300,000. Note: In case of participation in more than one Lot the Bidder should meet the above requirements in aggregate.
