Description: The purpose of the Solicitation is to require supplies equipment and services to upgrade Switch Gear Equipment This is a pre-solicitation notice for a commercial item acquisition and will be conducted in accordance FAR 12 and 13 in accordance with IL 90-99-4 (http://www1.va.gov/oamm/oa/ars/policyreg/ils/il99_4.cfm). This procurement will be set aside 100% for Small Business. The purpose of the Solicitation is to require supplies equipment and services to upgrade Switch Gear Equipment. At the Miami VAHS'S intention to solicit proposals in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8153 and VHA Directive 1663. The contract resulting from the solicitation is one time commodity buy and service.. The electronic solicitation will be announced on or about March 05, 2014. The offeror will be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents, amendments and other documents from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Activity 8 - Miami.
