- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC-LANT), Charleston, SC intends to increase the ceiling of contract N65236-12-D-4806 with URS Federal Services, Inc. by $12.5M and extend the final completion date by 9 months (to 10 Jan 2015). This contract provides for engineering, technical, analysis and assessment, logistical, life-cycle and program management support for NPES and SWFTS C5I systems and subsystems installed in SSN 21, SSN 688/I, SSBN 726, SSN 774 and SSGN Class Submarines and SUBOPAUTH shore facilities. This ceiling increase/extension will provide for the continuation of uninterrupted services until a follow-on contract can be awarded. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of the work required would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract ceiling increase based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
