Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Great Plains Regional Office (GPRO), Branch of Acquisitions is conducting market research and is issuing this announcement to seek potential sources who would be interested in providing the following service for the Turtle Mountain Law Enforcement Agency located in Belcourt, ND: Transportation of deceased from point of death (Belcourt, ND area), to the Medical Examiners office in Bismarck, ND or to be determined funeral home. Service will include blood draws for toxicology testing. This is a Buy Indian, Small Business Set-Aside Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a solicitation announcement and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. It is requested that only those Indian economic enterprises that meet the Buy Indian, Small Business Set-Aside requirement submit responses to this notice. Indian economic enterprises are defined, in part, as any business entity that is at least fifty one percent owned by one or more American Indian or Alaska Native individuals. The Buy Indian Act can be located at 25 U.S.C. 47. The contractor shall perform in accordance with all applicable federal, state, tribal and local laws and regulations. As part of the requirements, the contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the services detailed above for the BIA, Turtle Mountain Law Enforcement Agency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621910 Ambulance Services, and the small business size standard is $14.0M. Interested parties are requested to provide their DUNS number for verification of inclusion in the System for Award Management (SAM). Any interested and qualified sources are requested to provide a brief capabilities statement and letter of interest to Linda Davis via email at linda.davis@bia.gov. To be considered in this research, please provide the information above no later than 5:00 pm CST on March 12, 2014.
