Description
This is an updated notice to the original notice posted on 02 November 2012. The updated notice is being posted to reflect the new PSC and NAICS Codes. In addition, the Subcontracting Opportunities POC and Primary Govt POC have been updated. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Performance Based Logistics (PBL) known as MissionCareTM sustainment contract to Rolls-Royce Corporation, IN on an ‘other than full and open' competitive basis for the support of the V-22 AE1107C engines. Support of the V-22 AE1107C includes engines installed on delivered aircraft, engines awaiting installation on aircraft, engines utilized on test aircraft, and spare engines. The Contractor shall provide, at required locations worldwide, all Program Management, Engine Repair, Sustaining Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Organizational Parts List support (OPL), and Contractor Field Services (CFS) at the Organizational Level (O-Level) and above, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to support the V-22 AE1107C engine during planned and surge operations. This support shall include servicing; troubleshooting; restoration; engine/Weapons Replaceable Assembly (WRA)/Line Replaceable Unit (LRU)/component replacement; and preservation and packaging. The Contractor shall provide material replenishment at all echelons of maintenance. This is a notice of intent to request a proposal from, and negotiate with, Rolls Royce who has been identified as the only responsible source capable of meeting the Governments requirements for the AE1107C engine. Rolls-Royce is the sole developer, designer, manufacturer of the V-22 AE1107C Engine.
