Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written Solicitation is included in this posting. The solicitation number is VA263-14-R-1576 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This requirement is a Full and Open Unrestricted Competition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 621111 "Offices of Physicians (Except Mental Health Specialists) with a small business size standard of $10.0 million. To be considered for award of a Government contract, the offeror must be currently registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Offerors are encouraged to go to the SAM database www.sam.gov and start the registration process as soon as possible to avoid possible delays should the contractor be selected as a prospective awardee. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23 is soliciting proposals for Gastroenterology Services for the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System. The anticipated period of performance will be from August 1, 2014 through July 31, 2015, with three (3), one year option renewal periods. Option periods are exercised at the sole discretion of the Government. The date for receipt of offers in no later than April 8, 2014, 1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.
