- Description
- This award is the result of "Corrective Action" to a previous award (SAQMMA13F2041). DynCorp International, LLC was awarded a five-year performance-based hybrid firm-fixed-price/labor hour task order under the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Logistics Worldwide (LOGWORLD) contract. The task order will satisfy a requirement to expand the array of modernized Information Technology equipment deployed by the Global Information Technology Modernization (GITM) - Vanguard 2.2.3 program. The Department of State highlighted five (5) areas of high priority within the scope where the Department is seeking innovative services/approaches: 1) Provide innovations and efficiencies over time, and a labor cost solution, which reflects the expectation that the government will experience periods of reduced budgets, 2) Services in the area of remote installations wherein the contractor provides a United States (U.S.) based technical team responsible for installation assistance/guidance to Government IT staff located at overseas posts performing the physical installation of systems (hardware and software), 3) Contract transition that minimizes disruption to program and customer activities, 4) Value added performance-based metrics with analysis and recommendations, and 5) Ensure real-time data access through a web services solution, and provide a business intelligence solution designed to retrieve, analyze and provide ad-hoc reporting capabilities.
