Description

The U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates awarding a purchase order with Rockwell Collins, Inc., 400 Collins Rd. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA., 52498, to retrofit 5 CDU-7000D, Part Number (P/N): 822-2538-001 configuration. The Government intends to award a purchase order on an other than full and open basis, FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The CDU-7000 retrofit is a technology refreshment initiative that specifically addresses diminishing manufacturing resources. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal; however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 334511, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Responses are due by 20 March 2014.
