- This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The NAICS Code for this requirement 339920. This contract request is for a total of 16,800 each backpacks, t-shirts and individual suspension trainers NLT 90 days after production art approval. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of ONLY qualified commercial sources among the 8(a), HUB Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Programs technically capable of providing the below: One backpack, one t-shirt and one individual suspension trainers must be packaged together as ONE ITEM or KIT. Black Backpacks Backpacks must measure 17 inches long X13inches wide X 6 inches deep. Must have backpack straps and carrying handle at the top and has an embroidered US Army LOGO with Army Strong under it and Stay Army Reserve out to the left side. All lettering and logo must be Cool Gray, hex: #3D3D3D, rgb: 62, 62, 62, cmyk: 68,61,60,49, Pantone: Cool Gray 10C and font will be Verdana. Black T-Shirts T shirts must be black, size large short sleeve moisture wicking with US Army Logo with Army Strong on upper left breast and Stay Army Reserve on the upper back of shirt. All lettering and logo must be Army yellow, hex:#FFCB05; rgb: 255,203,5; cmyk: 0,20,100,0; Pantone: 123 C and font will be Verdana. Individual Suspension Trainers with Cloth Case The individual suspension trainers must contain 1-door anchor; 1 Anywhere anchor Cam buckle strap; 1 center strap with 2 adjustable cam buckles for height adjustment; 1- double loop strap; 2 hammer handle straps; full body quick start exercises' sheet. Cloth case must have Army Logo with Army Strong and StarArmyReserve on it. Color is optional. Potential offerors having the skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via e-mail. The Capability statements shall not exceed two (2) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.); 4) Familiarity and knowledge of the requirement; 5.). Advise if you can or cannot provide on a GSA Schedule. Responses are due no later than 13 March 2014, 3:00 pm EST, and shall be electronically submitted to Cheryl.C.Parks.civ@mail.mil. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. Again, the intent of this notice is to determine the availability of ONLY qualified commercial sources among the 8(a), HUB Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Programs technically capable of providing the requirement.
