Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center, 1201 N.W. 16th St. Miami, FL 33125 has a requirement to procure one (1) VA Police Department Dispatch Communication System to include installation. Requirement is for one P25 compliant Managed Zone Core Communication System (Motorola ASTRO 25 7X Trunking Upgrade). No mobile radios will be required. This is a Brand Name only procurement. Solicitation will be a 100% small business set aside. Solicitation will state exact specifications and installation required. Solicitation is estimated to be issued on or about March 14, 2014. A site visit has been scheduled for March 19, 2014 at 0900 in the morning at the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center in Miami, Florida. Building and room number will be provided in solicitation. All interested vendors are encouraged to attend site visit to become familiar with the worksite and specification/requirement. All potential contractors must be registered in SAM https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ (Formerly www.ccr.gov) to do business with the Government and must have completed online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov. Ensure your registration is correct, current and will not expire during the period of performance.
