Description
This effort is for the repair of the Antenna Coupler and the Antenna Subassembly/Logic Control Unit (LCU on the aircraft AC-130H and C-130j, EC-1300J, HC-130J, MC-130H/J/P and WC-130J. A Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) of 10 for NSN 5985-01-463-8400SO, PN 7-7PIN438 and a BEQ of 7 for NSN 5985-01-558-7542SO, PN 7-7PIN17 MOD 1. The Antenna Coupler and Subassembly are designed to work with a VHF (very high frequency) radio set to switch between FM and AM frequency bands. Requirements type contract to include a basic and four annual options, BEQs will be the same as listed above. The LCU is an essential part of the AN/ARC-222 VHF Communications System (Radio Set) which is used on several SOF/PRC-130 aircraft in support of SOF/PR missions. The proposed contract action is sole source to Chelton, INC. (63563) 1955 Lakeway Drive, Suite 200, Lewisville TX 75057. Authority 10 U.S.C 2304 © (1), only one or a limited number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
