Description

This notice is a restricted acquisition for an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) Contract for ground tire NSN 2610-01-537-6624, identified only by Code and Part Number, and for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data. Therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The approved sources and part numbers are listed below. The contracting activity is DLA Land and Maritime. This acquisition is an unrestricted procurement. The term of the contract resulting from this solicitation will be from the award effective date through October 13, 2014, or when the maximum value of $150,000 is met. Current estimated annual demand quantities, FOB and Inspection and Acceptance information will be listed in the RFQ. Unit of issue is each. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Approved Sources: CARLISLE TIRE AND RUBBER CO DIV OF 71496 P/N 519161 Note the following: One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreement Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
