Description
CDRL CDRL CDRL DID WD DID AMENDMENT 0001 WD DID SOLICITATION The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division (NSWC CODIV) invites vendors to enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) that establishes the terms and conditions applicable to future purchases of move, relocation and assembly services. As a result of this solicitation approximately 2 to 3 vendors are needed to provide the required services; however, the Government reserves the right to award to a single vendor. A BPA will be issued to the vendor(s) determined to be technically acceptable and offering the lowest cost to the Government, using the Evaluation Criteria established in Section M of the solicitation. Vendors must be capable of providing services within the geographic area encompassing Orange and Riverside counties. Services may also be required at other sites within a 100 mile radius of NSWC CODIV. Definitions A Blanket Purchase Agreement is a "charge account" arrangement, between a buyer and a seller for recurring purchases of services. BPAs are not contracts and do not obligate government funds in any way. A Request for Quotations (RFQ) is initiated upon the placement of a call from the Facilities Management Division's appointed BPA Caller. The BPA call becomes a contract upon the award of the call to the selected vendor and the vendor's acceptance of the call. RFQs can be rotated among all the vendors on the BPA or one vendor can be selected depending on the urgency and dollar value of the requirement.
