Statement of Objectives Request for Quote This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: CLIN 0001: 50 Ton Condensing Unit (1 EA) CLIN 0002: Crane Provided by the Contractor for Installation and Removal (1 EA) CLIN 0003: Condenser Coils (1EA) CLIN 0004: Expansion Valves (1 EA) CLIN 0005: High Pressure Blower without Motor (1 EA) CLIN 0006: Controls and Electrical Kit (1 EA) CLIN 0007: Freon Purge and Servicing (1 EA) CLIN 0008: Installation and Removal of 50-Ton Condensing Unit, Condensing Unit Coils, Expansion Valves, Freon, High Pressure Blower Without Motor, Controls and Electrical Kit/Wiring (1 EA) CLIN 0009: Consumables for Installation/Removal of 50-Ton Condensing Unit, Condensing Unit Coils, Expansion Valves, Freon, High Pressure Blower Without Motor, Controls and Electrical Kit/Wiring (1 EA) CLIN 0010: Air Sled Maintenance, Upkeep, and Operation Training for 10 Maintenance Flight Personnel (1 EA) Warranty: Condenser - 2 Year Compressor - 5 Year Installation and Labor - 1 Year This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F1R23D4049A001. Quotes will be evaluated and an award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price technically acceptable. Technical acceptability will be based on the following factors: 1. All parts fit in the existing Air Sled shell 2. All parts connect to the existing electrical and water outlets 3. Condensing unit must meet or exceed current capabilities of High setting - 420 PSI and Low setting - 150 PSI (0.32 Kilowatts out). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) IAW FAR 52.204-7. This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. North American Industrial Classification Standard 333912, Size Standard 500 Employees, applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination for delivery to 7 EMS/Maintenance Flight, 926 AVENUE D, BLDG 5020, DYESS AFB, TX 79607-1581. A site-visit will be held on 24 March 2014 at 1:00 pm (CST) to allow contractors the opportunity to verify all field requirements and better understand the requested repair. Interested contractors will check in at the Visitor Control Center at the Main Gate entrance.
