- Delineated Map for Ashville, NC FED Biz Advertisement for Ashville, NC Solicitation Number: 14EKE0080C Zip Code: 28801 UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS TO LEASE STORAGE SPACE IN ASHVILLE, NC Requirements: The United States Government currently occupies specialized climate controlled storage space in Arden, NC that will be expiring. The Government is seeking to lease space of minimum of 700 to a maximum of 800 contiguous rentable square feet of specialized climate controlled storage space. The lease term requirement is for a minimum of 5 years to a maximum of 20 years. The space must be available for occupancy by August 1, 2014. Other applicable requirements include: - Access to 2 parking spaces for Government vehicles - Rights to ingress and egress at all times by the Government - Private (non-shared) space, e.g., access allowed only to Government - 24/7/365 security to the facility - Loading dock facility - Not located in a flood plain - Continuous Temperature control (maximum of 72° F; minimum of 68° F) - Continuous Humidity control (maximum of 50%; minimum of 30%) - Utilities included in lease cost Any offered property must be within a 20 minute driving distance of 151 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801; within the general borders delineated by (see attached delineated map): North: Intersection of 26 Hwy and Weaver Blvd South: Long Shoals Road East: Intersection of 40 Hwy and Patton Cove Rd West: Intersection of Mt. Pigsah Hwy and Smokey Park Hwy The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and non-productive agency downtime.
