Description

The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to contract with Emcube Inc. of Alexandria, VA to provide the follow-on technical engineering services for FY14 SSP Systems Engineering Training and Principle Awareness Training. This effort is inextricably linked to work already being performed by Emcube for FY14 under contract N00030-12-C-0013. The contract modification will include an option provision to increase the level-of-effort items up to 30% for FY14. This NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses must be received within fifteen days from the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Emcube is the only known source with the requisite system knowledge and operational experience relative to the SSP TRIDENT II (D5) capable of providing the required effort with the existing cost and schedule constraints.
