Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center “Mechanicsburg and the Naval Air Warfare Aircraft Division Lakehurst, N.J. is interested in gaining knowledge of potential qualified business firms capable of providing technical and professional support services in support of the Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS). The contractor shall provide professional and technical services and support to include: management, system analysis, software support and administration of the JDRS Program. The effort includes the planning, associated documentation and implementation of new JDRS software modules as well as modifications to existing software. This also includes overall management of the JDRS website based processes, as well as the enrollment function which encompasses maintenance of website units and supporting activities and the personnel within these units. The period of performance for this requirement is for a period of twelve (12) months. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541519.. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This Sources Sought Notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. The information received will be utilized to assist in formulating the acquisition strategy. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this announcement and information submitted in response to this SS will not be returned. The information obtained through this Sources Sought (SS) is to obtain market information and capabilities. Responses will assist the Government in determining potential responsible sources and to determine the technical capability of the domestic production base for planning purposes and to determine appropriate strategies to meet the Agency's requirements. All vendors are encouraged to respond.
