Description

This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16), Biloxi, MS is seeking small businesses capable of providing server and software maintenance. The physical location for the server and maintenance is Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, Building 102, North Little Rock, AR, 72114-1706. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811212 and the small business size standard is $25,000,000.00. NCO 16 proposes to enter into a firm-fixed price contract from date of award through September 30, 2014, with one (1) twelve (12) month option. The purpose of this contract is to purchase one Application Xtender Dell Poweredge R720 and to provide annual maintenance and tech refresh of the Payroll Document Management System - Application Xtender (AX). Requirements include the following: 1. One (1) Application Xtender Dell Poweredge R720 Server. Server must meet the specifications required to run SQL and AX application modules. Note: Storage documents will be provided by the VA facility. 2.Maintenance/Support - During the term of this agreement contractor shall provide the following services for the software listed below: Description APPLICATIONXTENDER SERVER -50 CONCURRENT USERS APPXTENDER REPORTS MANAGEMENT SERVER VERITY K2 SERVER FOR APPLICATIONXTENDER VERITY K2 CLIENT -10 CONCURRENT USERS APPLICATIONXTENDER IMAGE CAPTURE SERVER (5) APPLICATIONXTENDER OCR SERVER A.Reasonable telephone service for questions or problems with the use of said Software. B.Revision updates and enhancements to Primary Application Software programs that are not charged as new options or applications on the same terms that are offered by contractor to all licensed users of the same. Contactor will deliver these updates VIA: E-mail. File Transfer Protocol, Letter Carrier or Courier. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation package for the requirement shall be posted on or about March 20, 2014. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
