Description

The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement to provide lawn care chemical treatment services at the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center, 4101 S. 4th Street Trafficway, Leavenworth, Kansas 66048. The VA intends to award a contract to a qualified organization to provide these services for approximately the period of time of 04/01/2014 thru 03/31/2015 base year, with four follow-on option years. The NAICS code is 561730 with a size standard of $7 million. The proposed contract is Set Aside 100% for Small Business with Evaluation Factors for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB / Veteran Owned Business (VOSB). Services require contractor to furnish chemical lawn care maintenance services at the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center. A detailed description of the services required will be contained in Statement of Work and Instructions to Offerors when the RFQ is posted to FedBizOpps. Contract shall be for a period of one (1) year with option to renew four (4) additional one year periods. Request for Quotes will be available on or about March 21, 2014. Due date for receipt of offers is March 31, 2014, 12:00 noon. CST. Anticipated award date is April 01, 2014 or thereabouts. A map of the facility is also included with the solicitation. Interested bidders are encouraged to visit the site prior to responding to the solicitation.
