- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Corps of Engineers is solicitating for the supply and installation of a Security Fence. The Project's place of performance is the Calumet Harbor Stone Dock located in Chicago, Illinois. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Solicitation Number is W912P6-14-Q-0018 and is issued as a RFQ. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238990, with a size standard of $14.0M. COMPETITION FOR THIS ACQUISITION IS A 100% SET-ASIDE TO ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED WOMEN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. AWARD: A firm-fixed-priced Commercial Items Contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible contractor submitting the lowest aggregate price for the items included in the above Bid Schedule. Split or multiple awards will not result from this quote. QUOTATION SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: IN THE CASE OF A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE DATES PUBLISHED IN THIS NOTICE AND THOSE CALLED OUT IN THE SECTION MARKED quote mark GENERAL INFORMATION, quote mark THE DATES IN THE BODY OF THIS NOTICE OVERRIDE THOSE PUBLISHED IN THE SECTION MARKED quote mark GENERAL INFORMATION quote mark ; THIS IS RELATIVE TO THE RFQ ISSUANCE DATE AND THE DUE DATE FOR QUOTATIONS.
