Description

This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation VA247-14-Q-0519 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 339112 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This is a small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the contracting officer. 8-Channel Wrist MRI Coil and 8-Channel Foot/Ankle MRI Coil GENERAL: The vendor shall provide one (1) 8-Channel Wrist MRI Coil and one (1) Foot/Ankle MRI Coil for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Atlanta VA Medical Center, 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033. (1)REQUIRED SERVICES: The vendor shall ensure that the 8-Channel Wrist MRI Coil is compatible with Siemens Avanto 1.5T MRI Scanner. The vendor shall provide Wrist MRI Coil that may be used both at patient side and overhead for patient comfort and increased image quality. The vendor shall provide coil base plates, patient comfort pads and operator manual. 1.0VENDOR/CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS The vendor shall ensure equipment specifications are met as listed in the salient characteristics requirements: -Compatible with a Siemens Avanto 1.5T MRI Scanner -8 Channel phased array MRI coil -High resolution and small Field Of View Imaging MRI Coil -Compatible with Siemens iPAT software -"no tune" receiver MRI coil 2.0TASKS The vendor shall complete the following tasks in support of this delivery: -Delivery to clinic location 3.0DELIVERABLES The vendor agrees to the following deliverable dates: -Equipment order only -No installation required 4.0PLACE OF PERFORMANCE Atlanta VA Medical Center Radiology Department (114) 1670 Clairmont Road Decatur, GA 30033 Vendor shall be escorted by the VA Biomedical Technician while on station. 5.0CLASSIFICATION/SECURITY Security clearance is not required. Vendor will not install equipment/software or need system access. (2)REQUIRED SERVICES: The vendor shall ensure that the 8-Channel Foot/Ankle MRI Coil is compatible with Siemens Avanto 1.5T MRI Scanner. The vendor shall provide Wrist MRI Coil that may be used both at patient side and overhead for patient comfort and increased image quality.
