Draft RFP for Market Research, FA5270-14-R-0019, Mini-MACC. This notice is for informational purposes only. The 18th Contracting Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan is conducting Market Research for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite (IDIQ) Design/Build Multiple Award Construction Contract (Mini-MACC). This is a DRAFT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) and responses to this request are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFP or an award either. Any information provided to the Government in response to this document will be used to help the Government define the acquisition strategy and develop formal RFP. Your response will not be returned and will not be shared with the third parties. Potential and eligible contractors interested in the Mini-MACC are requested to response to us such as questions, concerns or/and suggestions for this draft RFP no later than 1600 hours, 11 Apr 14, Japanese Standard Time (JST). Upon receipt of your responses, the 18th Contracting Squadron may hold a pre-solicitation conference. The Mini-MACC executes a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction, and in most cases will involve design efforts. Contractors will be expected to accomplish a wide variety of individual construction tasks, including 100% design/build, renovation, additions/upgrades, along with specific work in heating/ventilation/air conditioning, electrical, mechanical and other major trades. Individual task orders may range between estimated $2,000 and $750,000 or Japanese (¥) Yen equivalent in general.
