THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY-Solicitation is not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. Capability statements for this NAICS code from small businesses will only be accepted. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all businesses to include 8(a), small business and small disadvantaged business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The contractor shall be capable of furnishing all software and software maintenance support to: Provide the Army Logistics University Library with an Integrated Library System (ILS). which comprises a relational database, software to interact with database, and contains two interfaces; one for patrons & one for staff. SPECIFICATIONS AND TASKS. Provide an ILS that comprises a relational database, software to interact with database, and contains two interfaces; one for staff and one for patrons. 2.1. Products Specifications. 2.1.1. Cataloging Module that creates and maintains bibliographic records used for cataloging needs. 2.1.2 Circulation Module that allows for check in and check-out of materials, creates user records, places materials on hold, produces overdue notices, etc. 2.1.3. Public Access Module interface that the patron can use for access to the library catalog. 2.1.4. Interface that allows the system to correspond and work with the Radio Frequency Identification Self Check system. 2.1.5. Meet applicable requirement standards for Section 508 as required by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 United States Code 794 d); as amended by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (Public Law 105-220); the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards [36 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1194]; Software Applications and Operating Systems (36 CFR Part 1194.21); Web-Based Intranet and Internet Information and Applications (36 CFR Part 1194.22); Functional Performance Criteria (36 CFR Part 1194.26); Information, Documentation, and Support, 36 CFR Part 1194.41). Maintain the library's catalog records on the contractor's server and monitor server 24 hours a day, to include maintenance and support, upgrades, and backups. 2.1.7. Provide technical expertise to library staff inquiries by telephone, E-mail, website, or other written communication. 2.1.8. Patron self-service to include online renewals, view history, and submit requests. 2.1.9. Comprehensive search capabilities including title, author, subject, international standard book number, key word, call numbers, etc. 1.1.10. Online Public Access Catalog with the ability to customize each screen with library's own text, colors, logos, and help messages.
