Description
The Military Installation Contracting Command (MICC)-Carlisle Barracks intends to award a requirement for Digital Alarm Radio System (DARS) that includes redundant Digital Alarm Radio Receivers (DARR), multiple Digital Alarm RadioTransmitters (DART), and two Digital Alarm Radio System Annunciaters/ Work Stations with installation services on a Firm Fixed Price Contract. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE DIGITAL ALARM RADIO SYSTEM (DARS): -System must be NFPA 72 compliant in all aspects -System must be listed compliant to UL 864- Edition 9, UL 2050, UL 1610, and UL 365 -System must utilize wireless mesh networking technology to enhance reliability -System must be able to cover distances up to 2 miles -System must be upgradable to accommodate up to 100 transmitters -System must be encrypted to eliminate unapproved tampering -Central Station must be capable of hardware redundancy -Annunciation of decoded data must be at two separate locations (Fire Desk and Police Desk) -Transmitters must be able to operate from inside each building with no modifications or components added to the exterior of the building -Each transmitter must run on 120VAC and utilize battery back-up to maintain uninterrupted power -Each transmitter must be capable of utilizing at least 4-8 programmable input zones -Transmitters must be secure and tamper-proof This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes however, all information received in response to this Sources Sought will be used within the Contracting Command to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the Command. The intent of this market research is to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources to broaden future competition. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this Sources Sought announcement. The Command will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought announcement.
