Ashli Butrico Email: Lauren.Butrico@dla.mil This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is notice of the Government's intent to issue a sole source purchase order to Yorkaire Group (Cage: 3ZNZ4) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2(b)(ii)(A), Unusual and Compelling Urgency, comply with orders for a ship and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The contractor identified above is the only known source that can meet all of the requirements. This is not a "full and open" competitive solicitation and quotes are not being requested from vendors other than Yorkaire Group. However, the determination to compete, or not compete, this requirement is solely at the discretion of the Government. Description of requirements: Line Item 0001: P/N A50002, Heating Elements (6 EA); Line Item 0002: P/N VBLT, V-Belts (4 EA); Line Item 0003: P/N P1400, Manual (01 EA); Line Item 0004: One day on site services technician for repairs (08 HR); Line Item 0005: Shipping (1 LOT): FOB Destination to Naval Station Norfolk, VA 23511. Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Contract completion is to be determined after parts are received by vendor in order to coordinate with ships schedule. Provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers - Commercial; 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items be submitted with offer; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders - Commercial Items; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer - System for Award Management (JUL 2013); 52.246-9061, Warranty of Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE) (FSG 34) (SEPT 2009) DLAD applies to this acquisition. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS): DOB9 All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation sufficient to determine capability which shall be considered by the agency. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management, ORCA, and have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number.
