Pre-Solicitation Notice - VA261-14-R-0375 This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice that the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to acquire Sustainment of Health Healthcare Associated Infections and Influenza Surveillance System (HAIISS) Data Warehouse (HDW) Software for Palo Alto VAMC. This is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses (SB). Interested Vendors are not required to notify the Contracting Officer of their intent. Vendors are to look for the posting of the RFP on/about Mar 24, 2014. Synopsis of Requirement: Sustainment and Maintenance of HAIISS (Healthcare-Associated Infections and Influenza Surveillance System) Data Warehouse Software (HDW) for Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Medical Center (PAVAMC) The Contractor shall furnish project management, corrective maintenance, HDW software user support, system and software documentation updates, and software sustainment and maintenance services in support of Veterans Health Administration's (VHA) legacy HDW developed by Systems Made Simple and the newly developed HDW engineered by Bitscopic Inc. The Contractor shall provide such services from its own premises (remotely). For the purposes of this Performance Work Statement (PWS), maintenance work includes perfective, adaptive, and corrective maintenance. The proposed NAICS code is 541511 and small business size is $25.5 million. The VA intends to award a 12 month Firm-Fixed Price Contract. Period of Performance will begin immediately on/about August 1, 2014 or within 30 days after award of contract. Solicitation number VA261-14-R-0375 will be posted in FBO (Federal Business Opportunities) website. All interested vendors shall download the solicitation documents and its attachments directly from the FBO website www.fbo.gov/. SEND PROPOSALS in response to the Solicitation Notice, not this Pre-Solicitation Notice. Upon review of the Solicitation Documents, submit questions directly to Leala.Jew@va.gov by email.
