Description

20078783 - D&F Justification 20078783 Statement Of Work Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, this is to notify industry that a Sole Source Fixed Price Contract is anticipated to be awarded in the near future to North Dakota State Radio Communications, for radio-frequency access to North Dakota's Law Enforcement communications system. The radio system is used to keep law enforcement officials in consistent contact with each other in order to better serve and protect their respective missions. The access also includes alerts from the state's emergency response system, as well as the capability to perform record checks on vehicles and/or persons that they come in to contact with while performing their respective law enforcement/border enforcement duties. North Dakota State Radio Communications is the only vendor who can provide access to this communication system. No other vendor has access to, or is able to provide this service. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit a quote, which shall be considered. Additional justification documents may be provided upon request.
