- Description
- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Range Systems Engineering Department (Code RS31) Range Sustainment and Geomatic Engineering Branch is tasked to acquire 721S Rockwell Collins radio equipment for several Navy and Marine Corp Tactical Training Ranges. These ranges include Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma, Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, MCAS Cherry Point, Navy Dar County Bombing Range, NAS Oceana, MCAS Beaufort, and NAS Key West. These radios will replace existing aging UHF/VHF radio and/or provide new radios with enhanced capability. The Rockwell Collins 721S with options and accessories equipment required are as follows: Part #270-3148-032 721S-3B (108-400 MHz); Part #270-3148-220 721S ECCM Have-Quick I/II; Part #270-3148-042 721S-4B (30-512MHz); Part #270-3148-033 721S-3C, 108-174MHz, 225-400MHz Receiver/Transmitter; Part # 270-3148-062 RCU-710 Controller; Part # 270-3148-351 Saturn Waveform (EPM); Part #270-3148-022 721S-2B, 225-400 MHz Receiver/Transmitter; Part # 270-3148-155 NTN HS Pin Diode TR; Part #270-3148-300 Rack Mount Slide Kit; Part #270-3148-310 Connector Kit; Part #270-3148-150 GRC Interface; Part #270-3148-310 Connector Kit; Part #270-3148-062 RCU710 Controller; Part #270-3148-340 AC/DC Power Cables; Part #270-3148-150 GRC Interface; Part #984-4799-0001 Remote Control License; Part #270-3148-313 R/T Audio Connector Kit; Part #984-7499-001 PC GUI; Part #270-3148-360 Spares Kit (721S-X); Part #270-3148-363 Spares Kit (721S-XB); and Spares Kit (721S-XC). The Government intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with a four year ordering period to Rockwell Collins, 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498. This requirement will be awarded on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(c). This procurement is for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12. The associated NAICS Classification is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees. No solicitation will be issued but responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, quotation or requests for information to Martha O'Donnell at martha.o'donnell@navy.mil or interested parties may inquire by phone at (951) 273-4709. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
