Renovate/Repair Brigade HQ Bldg 410 at Fort Hood, Killeen TX Magnitude of project: Between $10 - $25 MIL Estimated Issue of Solicitation: April 10, 2014 with Phase I, Phase I due date: Proposals due May 12, 2014. Estimated Issue of Phase II: June 02, 2014 with Phase II, Phase II due date: Proposals due July 07, 2014. NAICS Code: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contracting Office Address: U.S. Army Engineer District, Fort Worth, 819 Taylor Street, Room 2A19, Fort Worth, TX 76102 0300 FOR INFORMATION ONLY: The solicitation will be a continuation of the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Southwest Fort Worth, Contracting Office. Scope of Work: The work will consist of the design and construction to Renovate/Repair Brigade HQ Bldg 410 at Fort Hood, Killeen TX. This project shall include the design and construction for the renovation of a Brigade Headquarters building (Bldg 410), interior walls shall be constructed/reconfigured to meet the user group needs. Windows, doors, and curtain wall shall be removed and replaced with more energy efficient and blast resistant units. Exterior walls and roof shall be updated with better insulation and an air barrier, and the interior shall be completely renovated with new finishes throughout. In Phase 1 of the 2 phase design build selection procedure, interested firms or joint venture entities, referred to as quote mark offerors quote mark, submit certain specified performance capability proposals, demonstrating their capability to successfully execute the design build construction contract resulting from this solicitation. The Government will evaluate the performance capability proposals in accordance with the criteria described herein and will short list no more than five (5) of the Phase 1 offerors to compete for the design build contract in Phase 2.
