Description
U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) will host a day and a half Recruiting Environmental & Industry Assessment on the afternoon of April 28th and all day on April 29th at Fort Knox, KY for the purpose of surveying industry (market research) on best practices applicable to a myriad of problems the command faces in the realm of talent acquisition between now and 2020. This event is open to all vendors who want to understand strategic direction and issues facing the command. This event may result in one or more Requests for Information published later by USAREC. On the afternoon of the first day, USAREC will provide contextual information on the Army, the accessions enterprise, and Recruiting Command's strategic direction and issues. The morning of the 2nd day will include detailed briefings and interactive discussions on USAREC's current doctrine, training, systems, and processes to provide a common level of understanding. The final afternoon will provide a display/table type opportunity for industries to setup displays and discuss appropriate capabilities and network with attendees. USAREC's primary goal for this conference is providing a common operational picture of the command for industry and learning best business practices to enable innovation, focused on online processes and systems, significantly improving recruiting. USAREC's key areas of interest are: -Implement knowledge management practices across the command. -Adapt to mobile computing processes and systems. -Develop and leverage virtual recruiting and social media. -Educate and train using best practices. USAREC is not seeking unsolicited proposals. USAREC wants to provide industry a common picture of the problems we face and our direction as an organization while gathering information that assists us in scoping our future objectives with an eye toward understanding what industry has to offer. After the conference, USAREC is interested in accepting White Papers related to the key areas of interest. USAREC will invite other Army agencies present at Fort Knox, including U.S. Army Cadet Command, Human Resources Command and the Army Marketing & Research Group to attend this event. Additional information and registration information on the U.S. Army Recruiting Environmental and Industry Assessment is available at www.usarec.army.mil/REIAC. USAREC will update this site weekly. USAREC requests that all attendees register and each company limit attendees to two due to space available. No known requirement(s) exist at this time. USAREC will publish any future requirement(s) in accordance with regulatory guidance.
